
United States and Europe Introduce New Travel Rules for 2025
Starting in 2025, travelers will face new entry requirements:

- United States: From May 7, 2025, a REAL ID-compliant identification will be necessary for domestic flights and access to certain federal facilities.
- United Kingdom: Beginning January 8, 2025, international visitors, including those from the U.S., must obtain an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) before entering the UK.
- European Union: In mid-2025, the European Travel Information and Authorization System (ETIAS) will require travelers from visa-exempt countries, such as the U.S., to apply for authorization prior to visiting Schengen Area countries.
